Introduction

Welcome to the Department of Automotive Engineering at Keimyung University.
The Department of Automotive Engineering, founded in 2020, is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of leaders in the evolving automotive industry. The future automobile requires a wide range of technologies, including mechanical, electrical, electronic, materials, chemical, and energy engineering. Future automobiles will require a broad spectrum of technologies, including mechanical, electrical, electronic, materials, chemical, and energy engineering. The automotive industry is transitioning from traditional internal combustion engines to eco-friendly vehicles such as electric vehicles (EVs) and hydrogen-electric vehicles. Moreover, it is evolving into advanced forms of mobility, such as Urban Air Mobility (UAM) and autonomous vehicles. In the coming years, automotive engineering will increasingly integrate with emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), big data, and human-machine interfaces. At Keimyung University, the Department of Automotive Engineering aims to cultivate creative and practically skilled professionals who will become leaders in the future automotive industry through a multidisciplinary approach.
